New York Times, 6 September 2026

There was a time we made the print edition of the NY Times and customers came all the way from the other side of the Atlantic to find us in our tiny corner of Hampstead. Totally blown away.

A screenshot of a website homepage for 'In Independent Shops', featuring an article titled 'Shopkeeper Spotlight: Shopkeeper: Fodder' with a photo of a woman standing in a shop and shelves of colorful mugs and glassware.

Thank you to Caroline Rowland for the lovely conversation and Shopkeepers Spotlight on the 91 Editions platform. A real milestone for us to talk in depth about the store with a real small business advocate. September 2026.

New York Times

In November 2025 we were over the moon to be featured in the New York Times Guide to London. The guide featured some of our very favourite places to eat, sleep and shop and we felt in very good company. Huge thank you to Susanne Fowler.

A travel guide cover for London from The New York Times, featuring a photograph of Big Ben illuminated in warm golden light against a blue sky, with the title 'Your Guide to London' at the bottom.
A cropped webpage screenshot showing a decorative tea tin with a carousel illustration and the text 'Fortnum & Mason is famous for its teas.' Below, travel-style business listings appear, including 'Fodder' and 'Marks & Selfridge,' on a white page with black text.
A black-and-white travel guide style poster or page showing three neighborhoods—Brixton, Hampstead, and Islington—with paragraphs of text, small maps, and photos of local spots. This is not a product photo, not packaging, and not one of the auxiliary product-specific types like measurement chart, color swatch, or instruction diagram, so subject_type is Other.

We were delighted to work with Rebecca De Boehmler who styled this shoot for House Beautiful UK. Shot by Oli Douglas and Direction by Sarah Keady.

The shoot was a modern interpretation of Mid-Century Modernism and featured work from store makers including Fern Taylor, Lily Pearmain, Hoodmor Studio, Sophie Alda, Aku Ceramics, Jode Pankhurst and Selwyn House.
