The Hope Collection

In collaboration with I Have This Thing With Ceramics.

Eleven makers, one brief: Hope.

The Hope Collection was exhibited at Fodder in Hampstead from 9th to 13th September 2026, following a private view on Tuesday 8th September.

The Brief: Hope

To mark our second anniversary in Hampstead, we invited a selection of Fodder makers to respond to a single brief: Hope. What they made of it was entirely their own.

The result was a very limited collection, each piece made specifically for the exhibition. Some responded to the world as it is now. Others looked to their children, to the first signs of spring, to the simple act of raising something up and giving it visibility.

20% of every sale from the collection throughout September was donated to Hope Unlimited Charitable Trust.

A Word From Our Founder

"In a world of increasing uncertainty, I find myself needing to hope in a way I haven't before. Finding hope through craft, through the hand of the maker, and supporting a charity that unites communities feels more important than ever. I hope our small contribution will offer hope to others."

Emma has been stocking with us for five years, and Brutes Ceramics has always had one of the most distinctive visual identities on our shelves. So when a new collection arrived that was figurative, playful and portraiture-led, we wanted to know what had happened. The answer is exactly what you'd hope.
