Bio
Caroline Dickinson spent ten years designing prints for high street brands before deciding she'd rather work with what already exists. From her studio in South London, she sources preloved cotton and denim menswear shirts one at a time and screen prints each one by hand. No two shirts take the dye the same way, and the seams, collars and cuffs all leave their mark in the print, so every piece is one of a kind. Shirts too worn to print whole are cut into panels for her Rita Short. She's a Londoner born and bred with a love of the sea, and you can see it in her colours and shapes.
